1. Introduction

Hype is all about real connections and engagement. We value authenticity, creativity, and kindness, and our platform exists to empower you to express yourself, connect with friends, and explore different perspectives. We aim to make Hype a place where you can have fun, engage in meaningful conversations, and feel safe.

2. Respect for Others

At the heart of our Community Standards is respect for others. If you wouldn't want someone to do something to you on Hype, it's probably against our rules. To make it clearer, here's what you should avoid:

• Bullying, Harassment, and Abuse: You may not use Hype to bully, abuse, or harass others. Any content or interactions that harm or intimidate others—whether users or non-users—are strictly prohibited.
• Hate Speech: Hype does not tolerate content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, or other identities.
• Illegal Activities: You may not promote, encourage, or engage in illegal activities through the Hype platform.
• Nudity and Sexual Content: Content involving nudity (consensual or non-consensual) or explicit material that exploits others is strictly prohibited. Hype has a zero-tolerance policy toward this type of content.
• Intellectual Property Violations: You are not allowed to share content that violates someone else's intellectual property, including copyrighted images, music, or videos, without permission.
• Personal Information Privacy: Sharing someone's personal information (such as phone numbers, addresses, or other sensitive data) without their consent is not allowed.
• Suicide, Self-Harm, and Dangerous Behavior: You may not share content that promotes or glorifies suicide, self-harm, or any form of dangerous behavior.
• Violence and Harmful Content: Any content that threatens or incites violence, or glorifies harm, is strictly forbidden on Hype.

3. Reporting Violations

If you notice something that violates our Community Standards, you can report it directly within the Hype app using our reporting tools or via our website. Our team will review your report and may reach out to you if needed. Please include screenshots of the content or account when reporting outside the app.

4. What Happens After You Report?

Content or actions that violate these standards may result in consequences, ranging from temporary restrictions to permanent account bans. Hype reserves the right to monitor and moderate content to ensure compliance with our User Agreement. Our decisions regarding violations are final, but if you believe an action taken against your account was unfair, you may appeal by contacting us.
